iron fence

When I was a little girl my Dad had a Zeiss Eikon camera, it seemed like magic to me. Since then I've been in love with the art of photograpy. This photo is the work of Monica Rich Kosann. Hallmark's new TRUE line of greeting cards features her spellbinding imagery. Posted by Picasa

end of an era

The shabby chic red couch waits for the garbage truck beside a brightly colored mailbox. Out with the old, in with the new!

lucky charms

This charm bracelet kit by Martha Stewart Crafts made me feel like a kid again. It comes with everything you need to make three charms on a small metal chain. The fun part was searching through my collage stash for the perfect images to encharm. I love the way mine turned out, but I am going to need to add a few extra charms for good measure.

what's wrong with this picture?

The loved ones sent this gorgeous photo of Bar Harbor. Everyone's on vacation and I am the designated watcher of the barking machine. Not fair.

secretly a history buff

another photo from the reenactment.

strange clip of the day

This is a cut and paste from my local morning newspaper:

Sterner call Miller on the radio, and Miller said, "I didn't care for that none too much at all."

a perfect match

Did you know that I love cars? I do! When I was a little girl, my brother had a killer matchbox car collection and if he was feeling generous on a particular day, he'd let me play with them. We had a huge braided rug in the living room and we'd take turns choosing cars to line up on the braids. This was my favorite car in the world, number 29 RACING MINI.
